The bike trail will , will be opened under the bridge during the fall bike rally weekend.
Construction 8/6/2002 The north and south abutments are complete as well as all the Piers. All of the beams have been set into position. Forming of the deck slab is about one third completed.
Construction 4/26/2002 The piling and footing pads for 3 of the 6 new piers are nearly completed. The three south piers are still in place and can be seen in the background.
Construction 4/26/2002 The north abutment piling is nearly complete. The piling has been cut off to the planned elevation. A concrete footing will be placed over the top of the piling.
