2002 Construction, Phase 2

August 8, 2002, Phase 2 construction began last week that will
extend the new railing to St. Clair Ave.
Excavation for the rail is nearly complete.
Forming for the concrete footings will begin this week.

2001 Construction, Phase 1

November 14, 2001, Phase 1 construction completed.

September 14, 2001
The retaining wall is 100% complete. Work has begun on the concrete railing parapets. Once completed, the contractor will install ornamental metal railings on top of the concrete parapet.

August 20, 2001
The retaining wall is 75% complete. This worker is stressing rock anchors used to support the wall.

July 1, 2001
The Contractor has moved back on site and work has resumed.

May 21, 2001
As of today the construction on this project is delayed, due to some defective materials delivered to the site. The defective material will be removed. It will take approximately 7 weeks for delivery of new materials.

April 2, 2001 Update
Work began on installation of the lower retaining wall today.
Work also began on installation of the concrete barrier rail.

March 26, 2001 Update -
Construction began today on the Cliff Street Wall Project.

Concrete SideWalk - 4572 square feet
Ornamental Metal Rail 704 linear feet, St. Paul Standard Rail
There is no improved lighting as a part of this project.
