The Westminster Junction bridge will be one of the first public works projects started as part of the Phalen Boulevard construction. It is a vital link from the Capitol Area to the East Side. This bridge crosses 5 main line tracks, of the Burlington NorthernSante Fe and Union Pacific Railroads, that all come together at this location. Each track carries 30 to 50 trains each day. The bridge design will carry the same theme as the rest of the Phalen Blvd. corridor, using the "St. Paul Rail" design and Lantern lighting.
