BRIDGE MAINTENANCE

The Bridge Division maintains the structural integrity and safety of all bridges, walls public stairways, guardrails and miscellaneous structures in the City Street and County Road right of way. Bridges are inspected annually to assure continued safety of the structures and to program structures for maintenance, repair and/or replacement. The Minnesota Dept. of Transportation inspects and maintains all freeway and state highway bridges (State Bridge Emergencies 651-582-1550).

Rent Our Reach-All!!
The City's Reach-All(Aspen Aerials) UB-60 is available to rent to other government agencies or contractors for inspection of bridges and light duty repair work. Current rates may be obtained from the Bridge Division Office.

Rates as of January 1, 2007 are:
$131.25 per hour, $1000 per day(10hr). A City driver must drive the truck, except under special circumstances. The operator may be provided by the owner, but must be certified by Reach-All. The cost for our operator and driver is $61.96 per hour each.
